On Saturday, Nathan and I took a road trip to Jasper, Indiana to celebrate the wedding of Meredith and Clayton. Meredith was the first person to reach out to me when I tried Connexion, an evening church service for college students (which is where I saw Nathan for the first time!). I was also in C-group (Bible study) with Meredith all senior year at IU.
It was a beautiful fall day for the wedding! Meredith was radiant, and you could just see the joy on her face as she became Clayton’s wife. It was so special to see two wonderful people begin their marriage.
The reception was partially outdoors and had a rustic feel. I loved the centerpieces and had to snap a pic to save for future inspiration!
One of the highlights for me was getting to spend time catching up with the girls who were in my Bible study last year.
It was so fun getting to see all of them, and we had a great time sharing in the celebration!
Nathan and I spent the rest of the weekend in Indy. On Friday night, we got to celebrate Zach’s birthday with the Beachys and Grandma and Grandpa Lundy. It was great to spend time with everyone! As per Beachy tradition, we enjoyed a dinner of steak and potatoes, plus some delicious chocolate cake to finish off the meal 🙂
It feels like fall has really sunk in here lately. With the cooler weather, return of Honeycrisp apples at the grocery store (!!!), and NFL games all day on Sundays (and Monday night this week, too) – we are embracing the new season and all that it brings. No complaints here!
