I feel like there are two kinds of people: those who make New Year’s resolutions, and those who don’t. I fall squarely in the camp that DOES 🙂 I’ve always been a goal oriented person, and resolutions are the perfect excuse for me to take a fresh look at where my life is and where I’d like it to go in the coming year.
Luckily, I’ve been able to get Nathan on board too.
This year, I have several personal resolutions (read more books, finish editing my second novel, write my third novel, continue working toward some of my health goals) and we have some joint resolutions.
The one I’m most looking forward to? We have resolved to have two dates per month: one that uses a gift card, and one that is a new place. Most of these will be restaurants, and we have quite a list going of places we want to try! We got a head start in December by going to Brugge, and this month we’re trying Blind Owl Brewery. I’m excited for this resolution because it’s a great excuse to spend intentional time together and get out in our city more.
Cheers to 2016! 🙂
