We celebrated Taco Tuesday in style this week!
My parents joined us for dinner at Nada, a restaurant downtown that I’ve been dying to try. All my coworkers have been (it’s super close to our office) and rave about it, so it seemed like the perfect spot for us to meet.
Nada is new to Indy but started in Cincy. It’s an atypical Mexican restaurant – the decor and menu selections have a flair and sophistication to them that really takes things to the next level. I can’t say enough about the ambiance. Definitely go there to experience it yourself!
We started with guacamole and salsa and complimentary queso since my parents told the waiter they were visiting from our of town. SO good! The chips were even more addicting than usual and we easily polished off both baskets before our food came.
We all opted for tacos. My mom got the mushroom tacos, my dad got the salmon…
Nate got chicken…
And I got shrimp!
They may look simple but they were anything but. All of the extra ingredients that came with each one were absolute perfection (like the avocado and queso on mine). I was full from our appetizer but still managed to eat every last bite 🙂
Tacos are a favorite of mine and these were top notch. It’s great to find a fun new place close to work, and I already can’t wait to go back!
